Swilcan Loft

What a great spot! I was a bit skeptical because of previous reviews but this place is definitely worth a visit. Our food was delicious, the service was excellent and the views were the cherry on top. Our large group of 9 all cleared our entree plates - fried rice, Shepards pie, rib eye and fillet. We topped off our meal with dessert of sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake and baked Alaska and they all matched the meal. Definitely give this place a try - it did not disappoint!

Amazing resaurant with unique views over the golf course and beach area. The food was amazing. Fantastic flavours and interesting combinations, with great service and friendly staff. Three course meal with sides would be quite filling, main course without sides is somewhere a little more than a light bite. Atmosphere is unique. Fantastics views from the light and breezy room that comes from near wrap-around windows giving stunning views of the area. Smaller tables do get a slightly better view as they're closer to the windows, it's just how the room layout works. Even their bathrooms are beautiflly decorated with a lovely no-touch design.

I highly recommend Swilcan Loft. The view is fantastic and ambience equally so. I ordered shepherd's pie and my son ordered chicken skewers with fried rice. The food was excellent and of course we saved space for dessert. The Baked Alaska was so good, the mint cream was perfect. My son ordered Sticky Toffee Pudding, Carrot Cake with ice cream drizzled with caramel. Obviously that combination is amazing and he confirmed it was. Staff is friendly, prices are fair, dress is evening casual.

A nice experience with a great view. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The sticky toffee pudding seemed a bit generic but the Baileys Cheesecake was amazing. Bar staff had to ask around to find out how to make a couple of the cocktails on their menu which delayed the two rounds of drinks quite a bit. The time to be served was also quite slow. Waiting staff were extremely polite and professional.
