I've been here many many times now and each and every time the food, drinks, cocktails (which are to die for) and service has been faultless. Everyone is so warm and welcoming from the moment you step over the threshold. The decor is beautiful and quirky and compliments the food and atmosphere beautifully. I love resident giraffe 😍 and especially love the fact that I no longer need to travel to Liverpool or Manchester for a special meal or an afternoon with my friends for a bottomless Prosecco lunch...maybe a bit too much! I can't wait for my next visit on mother's day 🍸

I'd been following The Dean on Facebook before my first visit today. We went for the first day of the carvery menu and it was fantastic, the best roast I've had in a long time. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The atmosphere was relaxed and complimented by the piano playing. Will definitely be going again

I've been watching The Dean on Facebook for about 2 years and been waiting for the right time to go. I booked the afternoon tea with Carol singers as an early Birthday/Christmas treat for my parents. My Dad asked to leave his sandwiches plain as he's not keen on condiments so I emailed the restaurant q few days before and also asked for prosecco to be on the table from the Grandchildren for Mum's birthday. A day before the booking I hadn't had a reply so rang them instead. The manager was very helpful and assured me the prosecco would be dealt with and my dad could order the sandwiches from the waiter/waitress. Very disappointed to get there with no prosecco on the table and my dad to be told the sandwiches are made up to order so they all had the condiments on. The chef very kindly made him some cheese and ham croquets instead and to be fair, the food was lovely, the young lad that served us was really nice and couldn't have been more helpful. The place itself was gorgeous and well worth the visit. The choir were fantastic, as was the pianist so I would still recommend it and I would go back again but the problem with the sandwiches did take the shine off for me, especially as it was a Birthday/Christmas treat.

Excellent food and the bottomless prosecco was topped up almost immediately as soon as the glass was 1/2 empty. We've been before and we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fabulous! The food is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had bottomless prosecco and it was amazing. Our glasses were never empty and I certainly left there feeling merry! We also had cocktails which were to die for. A lovely waiter took the time to ask me what I liked and helped me choose the perfect cocktails for me. We will definitely be back soon!

We dined on Friday, enjoying the prosecco lunch menu. From the very first Hello to last thank you and goodbye the service was 1st class. Lovely ambience and quality food. The goats cheese starter flowed by the Tuna Puttanesca were divine and of course the prosecco added the perfect balance for our lunchtime treat x

Wonderful meal for my daughter’s birthday! Food was amazing! The chicken supreme was to die for perfectly cooked! The restaurant kindly allowed me to bring balloons banners and cake earlier in the day which they used to dress the table beautifully for our arrival. They brought out a board at the end with treats on and happy birthday in icing sugar which was a very thoughtful and kind gesture and a fab surprise. Fantastic pianist too which added to our enjoyment of the evening. Also the owner herself came to our table to ask how everything was- thank you so much! Super service from the waitress too nothing too much trouble we were well looked after the whole time!
