Our meal was lovely we sat outside in the dog friendly area, there are umbrellas and heaters in case of inclement weather. The staff are friendly and the service was good.

This place is a hidden gem.
The staff, are super friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. The food is fresh and tasty. Decent sized portions too.
We had ciabatta with brie and cranberry, sautéed mushroom with blue cheese cream on toast and Tiramisu. Really really nice oh and 'Posh' chips..wow!

Nipped in Friday about 12 ish , had large fish and chips. Fish was definitely large chunky chips , glass of cola. Fairly priced, good service, polite staff. Would go again.

A true hidden gem, lovely staff, fantastic food, and drinks are reasonably priced, both indoor and outdoor dining, outdoor having shelter so you can grab a drink or snack while walking the pooch, or indoor if you fancy some proper dining, with a very pleasant interior and top quality food.

Had a 60th anniversary party here july23. We had 60 guests. The function room with its private balcony was perfect. Very nice and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. The buffet was lovely to. We searched around and glad we ended with this. Over looking a golf course you’d never guess you were in the centre of St Helens

Been here a couple of times and both times were really good. The first time was with a party of 7 and the next with 3. Both times the staff were attentive and very friendly. Meals were excellent at both times. Had fish and chips the second time, was tasty and filling.
It's slightly tucked away but well worth driving to. Lovely place to have a great meal.

Sat outside on a hot day. Great atmosphere with an almost continental feel. I had Lamb Koftas, they were excellent, together with a nice cold beer. A perfect place for an afternoon socialising. Will go again

Lovely bar/restaurant overlooking the golf course. Reasonable prices. Nice staff. Tip - take a cushion if you want to sit out, the benches are a bit hard! We tend to call late afternoon for a drink and some chips. Recently had a lovely family meal for 2 seniors, 3 adults and a 6 year old. All good and nicely served. Recommended.
