Paul's Fishbar

Had heard good things about this chippy so as just moved into the area, ordered fish, chips, mushy peas and gravy. Seriously the best I have tasted since moving to St Helens - the fish was so good and the batter was crispy and delicious and we had a large portion of chips between us which was generous and plenty for us both as well as hot and tasty. Will definitely be using regularly!

Went to Paul’s chippy Friday night as recommended by a friend on walking in the chip shop was spotless the lady’s serving acknowledge me straight away as she did with everyone who walked in. I was asked if I wanted any fish my reply yes but first is this cod and not that cheap fish people selling yes love next minute a loverly piece of cod appears to show me what the they would be cooking for me.the lady fryer was took the time to acknowledge me and chat about fish . Got home and all I can say is both the cod one lightly battered one normal was absolutely Georgous white and flaky the chips were cooked just right .two other meals bought and also no complaints from other family members just full of praise . So a big shout out to Paul’s chippy and there loverly friendly staff I shall be back after my holidays.
