Had heard good things about this chippy so as just moved into the area, ordered fish, chips, mushy peas and gravy. Seriously the best I have tasted since moving to St Helens - the fish was so good and the batter was crispy and delicious and we had a large portion of chips between us which was generous and plenty for us both as well as hot and tasty. Will definitely be using regularly!

Saw this place mentioned in the local paper and just checked it out today. Fish, chips, peas, curry. The hype is justified. Just wolfed it down and the chips were great, the fish was light and tasty and the peas were next level.

First time tonight, ladies behind the counter were lovely and the food was great. We got two large fish (Crispy) and a large chips, £16. Fish was fresh, massive and delicious and we got a mountain of chips. We'll be back again for sure! Thank you

Absolutely delish chips and peas from here this evening, and service with a smile as ever. No wonder it was voted St Helens' best chippy.

Absolutly by far the best chippy. The fish was amazing, not at all greasy and a lovely taste... The chips were perfect, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the gravy, curry and peas were spot on.... Will definitely order again

Went to Paul’s chippy Friday night as recommended by a friend on walking in the chip shop was spotless the lady’s serving acknowledge me straight away as she did with everyone who walked in. I was asked if I wanted any fish my reply yes but first is this cod and not that cheap fish people selling yes love next minute a loverly piece of cod appears to show me what the they would be cooking for me.the lady fryer was took the time to acknowledge me and chat about fish . Got home and all I can say is both the cod one lightly battered one normal was absolutely Georgous white and flaky the chips were cooked just right .two other meals bought and also no complaints from other family members just full of praise . So a big shout out to Paul’s chippy and there loverly friendly staff I shall be back after my holidays.

Recently moved into the area and found this gem of a chippy. We had a few large cod and chips with curry sauce, everything was cooked fresh for me, and you can tell they take real care with the food. Top quality stuff and will definitely be coming back

Lovely chippie and nice staff. It can get a bit chocka but that just goes to prove how nice it is. They can be a bit stingy with the chips but their fish are the best for miles around.

Popped into here kinda late on a Thursday, the lovely Emma, Gaynor & Big Katie were so helpful and bubbly and served us still. We had fish, chips sausage and curry sauce. The food was great as were the girls, thanks ladies..
