We had a great meal of fish and chips. And a nice size pot of tea.

My main issue is that it's cash only - I tend to only carry my phone these days.
Otherwise I liked the club baguette, as you can see it was very rich in thick bacon and chicken, which will please most, although I'd personally appreciate some more lettuce too.

It's a small, quaint little dinner. A few tables for sitting in if you desire. The staff are super friendly and helpful and always smiling. Service is quick and the wait for food is not long at all. Take away also available. Food is absolutely delicious. Prices are very very good aswell. Parking can be an issue as its on a 1 way street that gets packed but if you ignore that little fact you will absolutely love PDG's. I come here when ever I'm down that end of St.Helens. Best place for a breakfast butty 👍👍👍

Came in today for the soup and roll to takeaway it was pea and ham soup it's homemade and honestly best soup I ever had.
