Really surprised at how good this was! With a name like Ackies and the looks of the place I would have thought the food would be awful but no it was great! Fish and chips were great portions and tasted amazing, curry's were nice portions too and great taste although the chicken did have many chewy fatty bits and curry's were not labelled so unclear as to which was which. Kebab was huge and the donner meat was gorgeous. Lovely sauces too. Will definitely be back.

made a mistake on one of the pizza but i phoned and they are sending a new one out, mixed naan kebab was the best ive ever had, fish was hot fresh and delicious, kids loved the donner wraps too we will defo be going back xx

Great chippy, the food is well priced and always good quality, plus the staff are always very polite and friendly, and listen to any requirements with the meals. Our favourite place for chips

Awesome food, extremely good value for money, although the owner/chef is very good at cooking and really does it properly (like freshly grilled awesomely marinated chicken for wraps), orders tend to get mixed up, so double check these things. From 5 orders there were 3 mistakes. Calling to make sure helps. Otherwise, definitely a must try place, very sincere cooking.
