Sangria

On a three day visit to Jersey we tried to get a table on Friday night but they were fully booked. The young owner was so gracious and friendly when he told us this that we booked for a late lunch the next day. We were a table of four and had a selection of Tapas. Everything was amazing but the stand out dishes were Salt Cod Fritters, Basque Crab Gratin and the Iberico Pork Cheek. We then had a meat Paella that tasted fantastic and had so much in it. The owner was super friendly and clearly passionate about the food we were eating.

Outstanding. Despite being in Jersey for only a few days we will probably re-visit Sangria Tapas Bar and Restaurant a second time. Highly recommended. 10 Aug. We did go back and without a reservation. Thankfully we managed to secure a table but only just. No sooner had we placed our order than customers who had not booked were being politely turned away. Our second visit was as outstanding as our first: excellent and understated service and delicious food. This is a gem of a place but please remember to book Pete.
