Food was lovely but one negative I found it strange just to have potatoes with fish with no side. Would have made meal more enjoyable. But worth a visit. Order a side.

We had a late lunch here today in the upstairs restaurant. We have been here in previous years on visits to the area and are never disappointed. My wife had the mussels and I had the 'beach chowder'. Absolutely delicious. The staff are always friendly and professional. Oh, and the music is good too!

We made a reservation for date night dinner and ordered the mackerel pate, scallops, hake and seafood chowder. Everything was delicious, I particularly enjoyed my seafood chowder. View of the sea was really nice as well.

The restaurant food was very delicious but to " PRICE" for the type of food, staff very polite and friendly, everything on point, the view to the sea was lovely, I really recommend this restaurant if u don't mind spending £100 or over

Chanced this place on a Friday night and the staff went out their way to accommodate us. And what a gem of a restaurant, good selection of food and wine. I opted for the seafood chouder, which was amazing. The kids opted for the burger, which looked handmade and a very generous portion. And the kids Ice-cream factory pudding was a total winner. Highly recommended.

The service here is the real highlight, along with the Thai curry sauce on the Mackerel and sweet potato curry. The view is also pretty good!

Great views, some of the best of the harbour in St ives, in a well lit, comfortable interior. The atmosphere was great, with everyone seemingly just having a good time enjoying good food. The starter of mackerel was honesty up there with one of the best dishes I have ever eaten, genuinely knockout and I would consider returning simply for it. The main I had a whole crab, being a feast for the eyes and the belly! It was rather tasty, if you can handle hacking away at it yourself that it, I loved that! Only issue is the bread they served with the meals seemed to be from the coop, pretty disappointing given the price and how excited we were to lap up sauces and stuff with a nice chunky slice. That was the only downfall alongside slightly mediocre deserts. All in all, great place for fresh local seafood!

You need to book in advance to get a table. Unfortunately, we were not able to book in advance. However, we were accommodated by their staff, and they asked us if it was okay that the table didn’t have a sea view. We immediately said no problem, since we went there for the food. We were very pleased since me and my friends are really hungry 😅 We ordered their scallops, crispy sesame chicken, chowder, King prawn and catch of the day. They were all exquisite!! 👍🏻 we were happy with the chowder! I was just surprised with the serving of the scallops 😅 but overall, it was tasty! The staff were excellent, the location wise- accessible, the food was delicious, serving time was alright 👍🏻

You definitely need to book in advance to get a table at peak times. Staff were friendly and food/drinks were well presented.
I had the seafood chowder which is packed with a lot of seafood so not as much chowder/soup and the chowder itself was a little too salty for my taste. Otherwise I enjoyed my time there.
