Stayed here on Coronation weekend Sunday in my campervan. Loads of space out in the car park. Warm welcome from Fred & Nikki. We joined in the banter with the locals. Drank some great beer and ate some superb food. Thanks F & N and to all your friendly locals. Pat

The food was good except for the under cooked parsnips that were very pale and almost raw. The portions of apple sauce and horse radish were very tiny between 6 of us, we had to ask for another serving. The service was good, the staff very friendly and professional.

My wife and I stayed here overnight in our motorhome 22nd September 23 as a stop off on our way to Suffolk from Yorkshire. Fred and Nikky were fantastic hosts and the regulars were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We took advantage of the EHU at £10 (bargain) per night We ate in the pub the food was quality and amazing and good selection of drinks. Overall reasonably priced and we will defo be back next time were down that way. There were 6 motorhomes stopping the night. Nice large carpark.

Lovely pub with a garden in the village of Offord that also have 2 Motorhome spaces with the option of EHU for £10. We parked up our camper van so also had the carvery as it was a Sunday. Cost was £16 per person. Reasonable portions, only negative was the parsnips & carrots were boiled and very under cooked and hard. Barring that the meal was tasty and hot. Toilet were clean and staff all friendly. Buckden Marina is a couple of miles away. There is a Budgen store just a short walk away.

A beautiful place with great outside seating in the well kept garden. We had the fish and chips which were delicious, the service and warm welcome was excellent, we would highly recommend.

Stayed over night in the motorhome with EHU which was a very reasonable £10. The spot was very level and the hard standing great for all weather. We were greeted by Fred and Nikki and given a warm welcome whilst being directed to all amenities available. Stayed and had pensioners lunch the next day which was extremely good. Roasted pepper and tomato soup followed by fish and chips and then spotted sick and custard. All for £10. Really great experience we hope to repeat and would definitely recommend to all.

Update: June 23, still a nice pub, but the menu is a little limited. The fish and chips good, also the chicken burger and the lamb kofta, but the king prawn linguini was lacking in flavour and they didn't have any parmesan cheese. Good service, ok selection of beers, but just not quite as good as it was. Previously: Lovely pub with large south West facing garden including tables with umbrellas for shade and a children's play area. Inside, the decor is understated with a rural theme that suits a village pub and makes the most of some nice original architectural features. Good selection of beers. Will be revisiting to sample the menu again, can't really comment on this as we haven't eaten here for several years. Brilliant as a refreshment stop and hopefully (to be tried out) still an excellent place to eat.
