Lovely food and service.
The only downside for some people might be that it can be a bit noisy as the pub visitors watch sports, which can be a bit louder at times when you try to have a conversation during dinner.
It wasn't an issue for us, we will definitely return.

Nice friendly pub with excellent food. There is a small step into the pub at the back, but I'm not sure if they have a ramp as my partner can manage a small step. If you use a wheelchair or a mobility scooter check first.

We had a lovely afternoon with friends. The pub is spacious and airy. There is a pool table and 8 seated round bench like tables that are undercover, smoking allowed. The staff were friendly. We had the afternoon tea which I recommend.

Fabulous food. Stopped off for lunch today and was very impressed. Order of a special menu. 2 course for £10. How they can do it for that price is beyond me! Sea bass fillet with a delicious lemon butter and garlic and prawn sauce. The prawns were huge and amazing. Served with crushed new potatoes and green beans. All delicious. Great dessert too.

Amazing. If you’re looking for reasonably priced quality food, in a nice atmosphere (who isn’t ?) This is the place. It’s that popular you might have to book. Deservedly so.

I gained at least five pounds here but man oh man! It was with it! The spinach ricotta cannelloni was delish! So was my husband’s sausages and mash. My friend had the steak and ale pie and said it was super. I liked the friendly staff and there was plenty of parking in the rear. There’s also a patio that looked kid friendly but it was a bit too chilly to be outside. A great pub. Two thumbs up!
