Nice winery that serves food as well as wine. We had a flight of their award winning wines which was a nice combo of whites and reds. We thought the rose was a little sweet but the others were really good.
They have a full restaurant type menu with a good variety of options. I had the salmon and green beans which was delicious.
We were there on a Saturday and should have had a reservation but they let us in thankfully.
There is a gift/wine shop with a variety of wine related gifts and many of their wines out for purchase if you don’t buy from your server or just want to stop in to buy something.
The grounds and building are mature and very nice. They have four large teepees which apparently are coming down as the weather warms up. Neat option if you can reserve one.
There is a room off the gift shop that has some games and other kids things to keep them occupied. I’m not sure if they allow kids elsewhere.

This winery is amazing. My husband and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in a fantastic Yelp Elite gathering at Potomac Point Winery and it was awesome. The wine, food, views, and people really make this winery special. We really enjoyed the guided tasting with the owner as well as the food pairings with a glass of our favorite, the heritage red wine. The wine cupcakes were unbelievable...so moist and flavorful. The cozy tents were a huge bonus on a lovely fall evening. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. We would definitely comeback again and plan to bring friends and family. Thank you all so much for a great experience and we hope to see you again soon. :-)

Potomac Point Winery is such an idyllic location for a wedding! I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding there this fall, and I was impressed with everything about this venue!! Sydney was a phenomenal venue coordinator, and took care of every little detail. The bride and groom were fed with delicious h'ours d'oeuvres and cocktails during couples portraits. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so scenic - with endless great photo locations. I also adore the wedding suite for getting ready. It's bright and has perfect natural light! If you're considering a wedding, be sure to do the grape stomping - it's such a fun and unique way to celebrate!! Hoping I'll get to photograph again here soon!

Great Experience! The private tents are great! Trendy good music very nice vibe. Food was only ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our private server was great! All of the servers were nice and accommodating. The wine birthday cakes were really good. The wine tasting selections were nice as well.

Beautiful winery in proximity to DC. Good wine and great food. Very friendly service. The bistro is a romantic and light dining area, good for friends or a date.

We went to Potomac Point Winery & Vineyard to celebrate a close friend’s birthday. We were really drawn to the amazing scenery at the vineyard and it also seems to be a “hidden gem” amongst wineries in the DMV.
Overall the setting and our server were great - but there was a member of the senior staff (possibly the manager) who seemed to be very uptight from the minute we got to the vineyard.
From the time we made the reservation, we were notified that only one card would be accepted for our reservation for a table of 10… We understood this and came prepared with cash. However, this member of staff still insisted on reminding us of this during the party, and this along with her short attitude could have put a damper on the vibes during our visit- but fortunately the festivities triumphed her attitude.
Overall… Good experience & great wine!!

Wonderful winery. Ordered the strawberry cake and it was delicious. The wine flight was a perfect way to sample their wines but made it hard to narrow down our purchase; they were all so good. Will definitely be visiting again.

I’ve now been here 4 times: Overall a good time!
If you’re REALLY into wine…this is not the place for you. But the atmosphere is nice, the wine is “decent”, they have a variety of seating areas. Prices are typical for a winery (except to spend $40/person at least).
Minority review: as a person of color you will see a few others like yourself. No stares or uncomfortable feelings! Not sure about the treatment of LGBTQ+
