The coffee is so good. Service is wonderful. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Food is great too. The queue is sometimes long but they still manage to get through it pretty quick.

The food tasted average and needs improvement.
But the service was good.
I’d ordered scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms on the side which were very less in quantity and upon asking, they resolved the issue.
Massive shoutout to Monica for being so kind and assisting!

Excellent venue. Had a fantastic coffee and breakfast. My daughters choc milkshake was divine as was my bacon and egg roll. The service outdid the food and the food was fantastic! Will be back!

Can’t fault this small family-run cafe in the heart of Civic.
I’m an omelette guy for breakfast; good omelette and good coffee and I’m happy and these guys deliver in spades.
They open early, the staff are tremendous and it has a really nice vibe. Do yourself a favour and try The Bearded Bean.

Recently dropped by the Bearded Bean Cafe in Canberra and was seriously impressed. It's a relaxed spot that's perfect for a quick coffee break. The staff are friendly and quick to serve, which is always a plus on a workday.
The real standout is the coffee, which is clearly brewed by folks who know their stuff. Never underestimate the value of a good cup of coffee in the middle of a busy day.
Word of warning: it can get a bit packed, but that just shows it's a popular spot. Might be a tad noisy, but that's part of its character.
To sum up, Bearded Bean is a top-notch cafe. It's got a great vibe, quality coffee, and efficient service. Worth a visit when you're on the grind in Canberra.

You have to try their chicken schnitzel burger for lunch. It's my favourite schnitzel burger in the city at the moment.
The chips are also good. Nice and crunchy with a nice flavour.

We had lunch here this week and were glad we tried this cafe. It has a unique interior that compliments the good service and friendly staff. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. I imagine the coffee is excellent (not a coffee drinker) as I’ve seen the long lines during early morning.
