Great pub, fast service at the bar, friendly crowd. One of the last great rock music venues around. Good band too! (Shame about the rugby dampening the mood for 5 minutes).

It's always a good night at the weekend. Depending on the day, it can get VERY busy, but the staff are fantastic and never leave you waiting to be served for too long.

Been to this place twice in the last few months, usually on a Friday night when they've got a live band playing. Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and clientele. When you first walk in, it definitely feels like a bar: tables & chairs on one side; stage and dancefloor on the other (with bar seating along the wall). Not sure if it has been refurbished recently but the interior decor is a bit sparse - white/pale-coloured walls with numerous strips of coloured lights along ceiling corners and walls, which do add some character.
Knocking a star off as drinks are somewhat expensive - paid £16 for 3 draught pints (1 cider, 2 Frulis) which was more than I was expecting to pay!
