Wayford Bridge Inn

A good place to stay either as a stopping point between destinations or just to stay and relax. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in garden room 22. This hotel also accommodates pets, even cats!... who are also on holiday. Many guests were accessing boating trips on the broads. Staff are friendly and efficient. There is a regular menu as well as a specials board, and plenty to choose from. Portion sizes are adequate. Breakfast was included on our tariff, and there were choices of cereals , eggs benedict and a Full English, as well as toast with either marmalade or jam. It basically does what it says. Prices reasonably and no fuss. There is no continental breakfast option such as Danish pastries or croissants. But to be honest, we didn't miss it. The only issue that dampened things was the weather, which is not always predictable. So 5 stars are given.

When booking in we were told if we paid an extra £10 we would get a bay window & a 42" tv, which we did, the view from the window was of a fence, we had a cooked breakfast, which was nice, but there could have been a little more on the plate, if you took the mushrooms off the plate looked a little empty
