Absolutely faultless Sunday roast had the trio of beef, pork , turkey . Staff are brilliant polite, and anything is no bother . It's a relaxed atmosphere with pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend highly 😉 👍
I went on Saturday evening 17/12/22 with a friend and we had the turkey Christmas dinner and chocolate brownie with ice cream. Lovely food, very delicious. The staff were very polite and helpful . The pub had a few groups in and couples it was a nice atmosphere but not noisy. Not been to this pub for a while but it was well worth going back. I will go more often.
Lovely place we found whilst travelling to holiday home. Really nice pub/restaurant, seemed to allow dogs in and well staffed. Food was nice and good portions. Only issue was we had 2 lunch deals one with starter and one with desert and their computer system put it through as a 3 course deal and a single main so bill was not as expected. They sorted it out no problem however but would catch other out.
Absolutely fabulous place to eat. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly. Lovely clean place and a nice relaxed atmosphere..Managed to book 3 of us in last minute on a Saturday. Will certainly be returning
Delightful. Staff were more than helpful, food was perfect and the ambiance welcoming interesting and enjoyed by the 13 year old up to the 80 year old in our party. The younger members are definitely going to return, the oldies was the second visit their previous one being in 1969! It was great then.
Visited a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, they were fully booked (not a problem), the man behind the bar was quite blunt and a bit rude in informing us that they could not accommodate us. I imagine this was a one-off, I have dined here before, and the food and service have been great.
Brilliant, excellent service and scrummy food. I changed my booking to add a person and it wasn't a problem. The Father's Day menu had lots of choice and was great value for money, especially with such delicious food on offer. And, you would never know the pannacotta was vegan!
Popped in on way home, never been before but staff happily fitted in four adults and three children. Service was friendly and very helpful. Food was great. Lovely environment would certainly recommend and would return.
Lovely welcome find as we were in need of a food stop on the way back from the coast. We were lucky to get a walk in table. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was great and allergies were checked. I had the vegetable curry with sticky Jasmine rice which was tasty.
The three cups staff went above and beyond for our twin girls christening buffet meal. They gave us a separate area and then helped decorate it and we're so accommodating, they made our day, they were able to accommodate all dietary requirements and good disabled access. Nothing was too much.
