Great afternoon at the backfire event. Friendly staff in inn good service

Called in just minutes before last ordersfor food. So 5 adults and 2 young children. Took our orders no moaning said would be a wait because they were very busy. The only food came it is was well worth the wait and fantastic value. Drinks must be cheapest in the country. Bar staff pleasant nothing too much trouble.

Always a welcome at the New Inn from Ian, Laura and the team. Clean toilets and tidy bar area. Perfectly home cooked meals made by Ian at reasonable prices. Beer garden at the back and tables at the front in the car park. Dog friendly. BUT beware - the use of mobile phones in the building is banned by the brewery Sam Smith. The brewery also does not allow swearing and there are no TVs to watch sport. You are allowed to use your phone in the beer garden.

A good place for a beer and also does food at selected times. Nice beer garden at back. Pleasant surroundings. Lots of different rooms. Darts pool etc. Friendly staff. Beer and lager cheap. And Samuel Smith's. Car park and disabled friendly.

Fantastic Sam Smiths beers.. all at great prices.. Dark Mild £1.34 a pint.. lovely stuff. Nice big pub with room for everyone. Friendly. Should be called The Swordsman tho... History is important.

Amazing food with quality service even the dog got a biscuit. I had the beef pie and it was amazing. I also love the fact that you actually can't use your phones in there.

Well I stayed a week in Stamford Bridge and I used the New Inn for a few beers and had something to eat. I enjoyed it so much I went back 4 more times because the friendly barstaff and the food was excellent. The Chile Con Carne was so tasty I wanted another portion although the ample portion was sufficient. Every meal was made to perfection and the whole atmosphere created by the Landlord and Landlady was a pleasurable experience and im looking forward to going back in September. Cheers.

We spent a great afternoon in the Beer Garden. Superb staff and a good beer selection. Food to a while to arrive, but it was a large order.
