Went to the Slanted Door for Sunday lunch with friends. Had pre lunch cocktails while looking at the menu. Everything about the visit was perfect and the level of customer service was exceptional. Most of the party went for the roast beef which was cooked to perfection accompanied by a generous selection of fresh vegetables. My wife who had salmon said it was mouth watering and one of the nicest meals she has ever had - same comment expressed by the rest of the group. The level of decor throughout has been stylishly designed and well thought out. There was nothing to fault about the whole experience which we relayed to Oliver one of the co owners who visited our table. Will definitely be going back and will book well in advance as the restaurant is always busy.

First class food and superb service. Place was really buzzing all evening. Special mention to Joe who managed to fit us into a fully booked evening. Most impressed with the wine list, great choice on offer.

Best Restaurant/Pub in Stamford. In a beautiful town with many choices, we found an absolutely spectacular place. The owners were there, working hard to ensure an outstanding experience. It's a must visit when in Stamford.

Wonderful Sunday lunch, sirloin of beef was cooked perfectly, roast potatoes piping hot and an nice crunch to them. The Cauliflower cheese was the best 👌thank you

Lovely venue in beautiful town, designer and colourful furniture makes this restaurant unique. Cocktails andblotsbof choices to drink. Service was slow amd had to keep going to bar myself rather than being waited on. Was not seated in restaurant area so perhaps reason but even so . Lovely people and I enjoyed my Sunday roast

Absolute Gem of a bar/restaurant. Super delicious small plates enjoyed and excellent wines. Great staff who were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back...the cocktails and food were both equally delicious. Along with the oodles of atmosphere, friendly staff, and fellow diners it was the perfect start to the Christmas festivities. Thanks to you all for making it a fab visit.

Value for money. It’s not cheap but the food is to die for. Forget Ask Italian and Pizza Express if you are in Stamford overnight and you won’t regret it. The wine menu is very interesting as well.
