Visited the pub as part of a darts team. Made to feel very welcome. Beer is reasonably priced and more importantly kept well.
Excellent landlord, I held my mums wake there and he couldn't do enough to help. Really nicely done up and very clean.
This is a local pub, the locals are involved in all activities. I was apprehensive at first but within 5mins. They all new my name! I felt as so this is my local as well. Not a "gastopub or part resturant", an english beer pub (sa dly not many left) if you want a good beer in a friendly pub give it a try.
