We finally managed to get a table here on Saturday after trying for a couple of weeks when hearing about it from friends. The food itself was amazing, the beer battered prawns and lobster ravioli were definitely my highlights... oh and the pistachio cannoli. The service was excellent and the staff attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating even adjusting a liqueur coffee shot that we requested but wasn't on the menu. Outstanding, we'll be back as soon as we can get back in. Good luck to this business, keep doing what you're doing :)

An exceptional dining experience.
The food :
Delightful home cooked food. The chef has an incredible insight to how food should taste and look and is very much inspired by his Italian heritage. We decided to have a selection of starters and a couple of mains. Every single dish was full of flavour, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.
The service :
Attentive. Informative and perfect. Nothing was to much trouble.
The chef :
A genius.
It’s not often a chef will leave his kitchen to speak with customers. We didn’t ask. But nether the less he came from the kitchen and spoke in great detail about how he cooks and his mothers inspirational cook book ( which is on full display ). All the food is inspired from this book. Cooked and presented just how mama would have done it many years ago. It’s a rare quality in this day an age , and very much appreciated.
The surroundings.
It’s. superb environment to be in. It’s super cozy. The lighting and decor have really been taken into account and make all the difference. Many of the ingredients are on display and can be seen as the chef picks to cook.
Value.
On our visit tonight we had WAY too much food. We picked 4 starters to share and 2 mains between all of us. This along with beers and wine came in at a very reasonable cost.
Visit this place. You will never be disappointed. It really is exceptional.

This place has a wonderful reputation from a reason. Comes highly recommended from lots of our friends. I had a lovely meal here with my wife. Both of us really liked it. The staff were so friendly and always available when required. The food was lovely and really high class. Left feeling very full. Can't say enough about this place. So tasty.
This is one of those rare places where as you walk through the door you are welcomed as if you were family. The food is authentic, exquisite, reasonably priced and lots of choice to boot. All aspects of our experience were of the highest quality and we will recommend it to everyone we know.
"Just like mama used to make" sums this place up well, in the best way. There's not a lot of space to sit though, so try and make sure you put in a reservation if you plan on going. Friendly staff who really know their stuff if you're not very experienced with more traditional Italian food too!
Best Italian food I have eaten - and I've been to Italy. Really really good and lovely people too. Can't recommend this enough.

It was our first visit to A Tavola following recommendations from a few of our friends.
Initially, there was a mix up with the booking because of a problem with the booking website which meant that we had to wait for a table to become available. However after this, the rest of the the experience was excellent. The food was very tasty and service was really good. I had the ox cheek which was superb. I will definitely come here again. Recommended.

Visited A Tavola this week with my family and we were blown away by the quality of the food, the friendly atmosphere and the overall Italian theme. Highly recommended, best place to eat in Reddish!

If you love true and authentic Sicilian food, this is the place. Just perfect, nothing to Complain about. Perfect food and great people. I loved the fact that the chef Alessio came to the table and asked if everything was good.
