Olivers

We visited Oliver’s restaurant last Friday for my 30th birthday and we were all so impressed!! As a table of 10, we were quite a big party, so we had to pre-order our food before the evening. Lovely visit to enjoy the fine food and wine on offer at this lovely establishment and it didn’t disappoint Great also to see the staff all get along so well with each other and genuinely enjoy their jobs

The bar tender, I believe his name was Elliot, was great. He clearly has quite the reputation with the regulars as they all called out to him as they left at different times. We only had time for one drink so we enjoyed it and decided to come back at another time to check out the food (which looked amazing as it was carried past us).

We wanted to try this place for a while but never quite got round to it. We had the two course Sunday lunch for £17.95 with free filter coffee and a small glass of wine for privilege diners (sign up on their website and they'll email offers and the dates available). The staff were really friendly and even though we were served by several different people they were all helpful and worked seamlessly. The food was delicious and you could tell there was a great deal of attention not only to the appearance but the taste. We'll definitely return.

I was taken to Olivers for the Mothers day luncheon. What a delight. It was busy with a lovely atmosphere, but although it was full the very pleasant staff and mine host, ran it like a well oiled machine! And the food was absolutely perfect, served on good hot plates. Compliments to the kitchen brigade for a job well done. We still have smiley tummies! Look forward to returning soon.

We went to Olivers for a Christmas Lunch. The restaurant was warm and welcoming with tasteful Christmas decorations Set menu with 4-5 choices for each course. Food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I was a bit put off by the dark colour of the sauce over the turkey but it tasted so good. We were well looked after by the staff. Only drawback is the small, cramped car park. Maybe better to park on the road.
