This is amazing but once in a blue moon they have a bad lot of chips but mainly beautiful I go with my family once a week and will not go another chippy
This is the best chip shop this side of Manchester, service is always with a smile, always polite and welcoming. Every time I go they are busy. The menu is not the cheapest but boy do you get value for money, the fish are like whales ha ha ha and nothing ever seems stale. I know they have customers that travel from great distances and they have won awards, they are so well deserved.
Best chippy in the area that's for sure. Just remember in order to make your meal less soggy, ask them to give you your mushy peas separate rather than their default choice of chucking them in the same tray the fish and chips
They have stopped by far my favorite meal deal. I still miss large fish and chips meal. It's no longer available when I visited last time. Other than that I really like the fries.

Lovely old school chippy! Friendly, helpful staff, got myself a Mothers' Day chippy tea and it was absolutely delicious. Would go again in a heartbeat!
This is probably one of the best traditional chippies around. I come from Brighton and we will know how famous Brighton is for its fish and chips. But these guys are better than anything I had. The chips are just the best, crispy, fresh and even when you cover them in curry sauce (which is pretty good) they remain crispy. Staff are really nice, efficient and friendly. It gets busy though, which is to be expected considering how good the food is.

I always have the same. The chips are not bad, the fish is lovely, I have it well done and lightly battered. We go there regularly.
