Ran by pure innovation this is a must when you visit the park. Homemade cake and good coffee . Pasties and sandwiches hot soup and winter warmers. Perfect after an autumnal walk round the park and dog 🐕 friendly.

Nice locally run cafe to help local people. Not worlds fastest service but food nice and kids love the ice cream! Can get teas, coffee, cakes, snake and local items too. Dog friendly too.

Great selection of cakes. Good coffee. Hard working staff keep the place clean, which is important. Disabled parking to the door (down the driveway). Can get busy at times, which is probably a very good sign. Shame the old museum closed down a few years ago, and the basement art gallery seems to have closed now too following the Covid pandemic. But the cafe appears to be doing well thankfully.

My first visit. Pleasantly surprised. We ate in the side room, struggled to make a space for my friend's wheelchair as it's quite packed with dining furniture, and it was quite noisy with chairs and tables scraping when we moved them. Also, as dogs are allowed in, one was barking so it felt an age until we got settled. The staff were lovely, the food was lovely and fresh, the takeaway bakery products we bought were delicious. There is a lift for a wheelchair down to basement for the loos, and although the shop was closed, it's a lovely setting down there. Overall, we had a lovely afternoon and I would go again.

Excellent little cafe at the top of the Park. Good food and drink plus the beauty of the park around. Reccomend a hike up the hill then collapse on the cafe seating with a cloudy lemonade.

This café is a little gem in the park.
A lovely slection of fresh hot and cold sandwiches and some locally baked cake options too. Run by a local organisation helping Special education, and learning disbled young adults to live independent and fulfilled lives.
A must if you pop into the park.

Really nice cafe selling a range of foods, For the price charged you could say it was a bargain.
Lovely setting and next door to Wood bank Park so a lot of space to enjoy. Lots of dog walkers and parents with children going to the play area..
