Popped in wirh a bunch of mates for a few pints and catch some of the champions league. Bit off the main drag of Stockport but overall a nice pub. (Food not rated, didn't have anything).

Been for a Sunday dinner a few times now and food is always amazing. People that ran the pub are nice and friendly always male you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Always recommend this place for anyone who askes and under £10 for a dinner with all the trimmings what more can you ask for.

What a place! We have been coming here for years and since Mark and family have taken over it has only got better. We go every week for our Sunday lunch and leave full and needing a lay down. Never had a bad day/ night and would highly recommend this place for food or a night out

Well, what a little hidden gem! Staff amazing, food amazing! All home cooked. Don’t know anywhere close by that you can get a Sunday dinner with honey parsnips, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, mash whipped up like a cloud, home done roasties, Yorkshire pud and real gravy all with a choice of 3 meats, I had a bit of everything and all for £8-95!! Nothing is too much for them, and it even has a beer garden. If you’re ever in Stockport, give it a try!! I’m there this Saturday as they have an artist on the last Saturday of every month so the dancing shoes are being dusted off for a well needed boogie!

The staff are lovely, welcoming, and friendly Mark, Jack, Bev and T are fantastic hosts. It's brilliantly stocked for all tastes, and there's also cheeky snacks for furry friends. Pop in, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to be back

Love this place. So thoroughly welcoming and amazing.
I had Sunday lunch today, a great meal with freshly prepared vegetables, lovely crispy roast potatoes & Yorkshire pudding. A good choice of meats too (if not veggie), lashings of gravy.

Ric says this pub has had a few ups and downs. Used to have a big real ale selection but not enough turnover to keep it going. Only Ossett White Rat 4% Pale Ale today which was fine. Jorvic not so keen on his Madri. Only OK. Very quiet on a cold Wednesday lunch in Feb. Good location on the edge of the market place. Needs a bit of investment.
