Not had a meal from here for a while. Friend told me it was really good at the moment. And it was. Special chow mein pork fried rice and SS chicken balls all very nice. Think £2.40 for prawn crackers is unnecessarily expensive especially as others give them free. All the good was good and service was quick.

We have been using Hilltop Cottage for years on and off but a few years ago they vastly improved the quality of the meat they use and we haven't been anywhere else since! Always polite and friendly and aside from the occasional busy time always speedy service. The only down side is that they only take cash which feels a bit weird in these Covid times.

Lovely food, generous portions. Ordered far too much, had to reheat next day. The spare ribs in Black Bean sauce were particularly good. Would pick more varied meals next time as although the ingredients in the dishes were all different the sauces were a bit 'samey'. Ordered when the shop opened and it was delivered to door less than 20 mins later, piping hot.

As a Chinese person I definitely recommend this place! Really nice food even though its a takeaway. However, it is cash-only which is slightly disappointing.

Been getting Chinese takeaways from here since it opened in 2002. Always had great quality food at reasonable prices. Polite and friendly staff and quick delivery :)

My go-to Chinese takeaway. Never had to wait more then half an hour to collect and it's always been ready waiting for me. Food I find is consistently good and at the price you'd expect.
