A regular weekend haunt that always feels relaxing and safe. The food can be hit and miss so generally I have a nose around before ordering. Not the greatest spot to sit outside but overall it's a very well run pub. Great Guinness 👍

We just fancied a light bite with a drink. Food was very good. Quite a few kids in running around though. So if not a fan of that, i would stay clear.

We eat here regularly and always enjoy the food. We decided to have my mothers wake here yesterday. They reserved a section for our party. The buffet was really good and the staff were efficient and friendly. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to hold a special celebration.

Came to the Foley last night, 28.07.23. We booked a table and got drinks and we were shown to our table.
We ordered from the set dinner menu; Nachos for starters, x1 doubled up rump meal, x1 Chicken Tikka curry for main and Sticky Toffee for pudding. All of it was absolutely delicious, as always.
My only gripes are that the table didn't seem very sturdy. When cutting our food, the table wobbled, and whilst still eating the lights went down/turned off in the back area.

Great attentive staff, food was lovely.
Down side was we spent 5 hours eating and drinking having a great time, I’m an NHS worker and have used blue light a number of times. Was disappointed that when we went to pay the bill at 00.08 we weren’t eligible for the 25% due to it going into Saturday. This made a difference to our bill which made the ending to a great night to be one slightly disappointing

Very pleasant atmosphere, hubby and I had Sunday roasts, which were delicious, our grandson had steak, which he wolfed down, the sweets were also very tasty, the staff were very friendly and there was 200no lengthy waiting. Just wish we lived nearer, but we stopped off on our way from Cheshire to Taunton. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely pub, we have been before and had a lovely meal and the service and atmosphere is great. The lady behind the bar (Vicki) was really lovely starting my Guinness before we had decided and ordered our food and then when I asked about Blue Light card discounts giving amazing service by pointing out I could save money by going through the app for a code rather than just being applied at the till (there is a difference) this sort of service deserves recognition and highlighting. Thank you, we will be coming back when we are again in the area

Very warm welcome. Excellent spotlessly clean pub with a good diverse menu not just all the old pub staples but really tempting dishes. Care and attention paid to a prompt delivery of perfectly cooked food. The management are very hands on and do their utmost to offer the best customer experience.
