First time here with the family omg the stake and ale pie is unreal worth every penny 4 adults 4 kids £77 witch i think is amazing for what you get the portion size are huge 😀 staff are lovely omg you got to try the yourkys Puddings & pigs in blanket to die for
The mixed grill is fantastic size and fulling
The stake and ale pie reminded me of when I was young brung back memories when my mum was alive and use to make them the pastry was so yummy on its own honestly best pie ive had since my mum passed in 2016

Nice pub with good beer and food although this time unfortunately my fish was overcooks and they did offer to replace it which i declined. But normally food is of the highest quality, good friendly atmosphere. Top class staff with highly recommend

A large peaceful pub, quiet, comfy open plan eating and drinking areas and lots of parking places.
Lovely fresh hearty meals, big portions too. Also a pool table and dartboard in the way of entertainment.

The staff were very pleasant and service was fine. Unfortunately the meal (sausage and mash) was poor, dry vegetables. The sweet wasn't too bad

Food here was not the best at all, my mum took hers back as the chicken was well over done with black on the top & bottom. The salad looked like it was from 2 days ago, for £7.25 this is not good. Mine was £8.25 & the fish was not that big at all & the peas where cold & well you can see that you don’t get a lot of chips, not happy at all

Christmas Day meal.
Absolutely Fantastic, The Best we have had anywhere by far.
They made it a special day for us by including our dogs and catering for them with their Christmas Turkey Dinners.
Great Hospitality and Delicious food as always.
