Great Old School Boozer. Love this place. Great staff, particularly Natalie! Reminds me of how pubs used to be - great regulars, top banter, good prices. I normally visit here on my own for a pint or two with my dog who is now more popular than me! Proper community pub.
We had a wake their yesterday 16/01/26 in the function room. Absolutely spot on,clean,tidy and a great venue room. Staff were very helpful and polite,nothing was too much for them. Definitely recommend and will use again if needed. Thank you to all the staff at the gigmill pub made all the family feel very welcome
Lovely atmosphere, the kids played pool whilst we had a beer. Took the dog with us too. Clean loo's (important to me!) Friendly bar staff, Natalie was great, even helped Mom carry the drinks over :) we'll visit again soon.
We had a private room for my husband's wake. It comfortably seated the 40 people who came. The food was fresh and tasty and plenty for everyone. I would have paid extra if it was possible to have cake or dessert of some kind as well. The staff were lovely and organised everything for me. Thank you.
I had my mom's wake there today (Monday, 24th November 2025). The food was superb; I ordered for 25 people but it could have easily fed 40. Thank you to the staff at the Gig Mill
Joined here for a party and had a lovely afternoon, nice clean pub. Large function room and friendly staff. No food eaten from the pub so can't review but everything 5* so assuming would be just as nice.
