Fantastic! The cheese scone with chilli jam and cream cheese was one of the nicest things I have ever eaten! Topped off with a pot of Earl grey. Lovely food, lovely place :)
Beautiful, cosy . Loved my one night really wished the weather had been better for exploring so I could have stayed another night. Clean , charming well presented an added touch with little treats to accompany the many choices of tea and coffee and after a long day to snuggle into that lovely bed with a mug of hot chocolate. Then if it wasn’t enough a full English. Cooked beautifully. Extremely lovely staff and owners pleasent and chatty and would throughly recommend. When I get the chance to visit the Cotswolds again will definitely check to see if Lucy’s Tearoom has space. Would love to go in the summer and sit in the little garden with my dinner , only downside is people walking to the toilets but that is why you have curtains and really wouldn’t have realised as the room is so snug and cosy.
Lucy's tea rooms amazing tea n scones were amazing. Do soup was too filling...
The taste was delicious 😋.. Wonderful place. We had visited dia place in December 2017 n still reminisce da taste of each and every palette. Wud luv to go again dere.. Wonderful place..... Staff courteous n friendly.
A Quaint tearoom with a small outdoor garden sit out. A family and friends run place so you will need to be patient with the service. Lovely tea cakes and brews. Just the place to sit down with your cuppa and relax after all that walking along the country side. Do stop by to experience the charm of the old world. 😊
Ordered the high tea – two types of sandwiches (tuna; egg salad), two types of cakes (walnut and coffee cake, Bakewell tart), and cream tea. The sandwiches were made freshly on the spot, there was a good selection of tea cakes (the walnut and coffee cake was nice and interesting) and the cream tea was quite good. Lovely area at the back. There was a little bit of wait for the food to be ready, since they made them on the spot. The waitress informed the customers first before they decided to sit down.
It’s late afternoon and we’ve arrived at Stow in the Wold in the Cotswolds. After a wander through the town centre we’re feeling rather peckish and eye off the very cute Lucy’s Tearooms with pretty hanging baskets in full bloom and white wrought iron furniture
We had an amazing time staying at the B&B at Lucy’s Tearoom! They offer 2 guest suites, one on ground floor and one right above on first floor. We stayed in the ground floor suite. Our room was cozy and very clean. One thing to keep in mind is you can hear footsteps if someone is staying in the suite above you. Breakfast was included, and was DELICIOUS!! We chose The Full English, and it was one of the best breakfasts of our trip. Check in and check out were easy. My only regret was we didn’t stay longer!! Highly recommend, and we would stay again!
We didn't stay at the B&B, hence no rating, but the Tearoom was fantastic. Just coffee and a cheese scone; for us, personal water bowl and treats for our dog. Similar for the other guests, personal bowl of fresh water delivered to the table out in the garden. From speaking to the other people in the garden, the standard of refreshments was consistently excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back when we next visit Stow-on-the-Wold.
£8 is a bit steep for tea and carrot cake but both were absolutely superb (loose-leaf tea, moist homemade cake). Lovely service too. Pretty little place right on the market square.
We stopped to have some tea, coffee and scones. The warm drinks were delicious. The cheese scone served with chutney was very good. Great service
Lovely afternoon tea and a pretty fast flow of people in and out so you don't have to wait long, if at all. I would heartily recommend this place. Large portions. Friendly servers. Laid back atmosphere. Not too pricey. Pretty decor and lovely building. I wish they had some information posted about the history of the building/location as it seems like a very special place and I was curious!
Sat upstairs by the Munson with views over the square. Had fish finger sandwich which was lovely. Was planning to head off but decided on cake and coffee, as the sandwich was so good. Not disappointed! Lovely friendly staff….
Had lunch at Lucy's Tearoom. Coming from the States, we were in love at first bite. By far one of the best meals we've had on our trip to the Cotswolds. I would highly recommend Lucy's Tearoom to any and all. The tea options and flavors were delightful and delicious!
This was the first place we have ever had afternoon tea. We weren't sure what to order and asked quite a few questions. The staff was helpful and friendly. The portions were large. The scones were amazing. We were excited to have a seat by the front window. It was a lovely experience for us.
Stopped here on Saturday afternoon whilst visiting the Cotswolds. Had seen it recommended on the internet so made a bee line to the cafe for lunch. Kept waiting at the door for a few minutes then eventually sat down at a recently vacated table. The table was very small for 4 people & the chairs a little uncomfortable. I had the breakfast bap which was delicious, tasty ingredients & well cooked. Service was slow & had to ask twice to order cake after our lunch. Seemed a little disorganised, lady who served us was very pleasant & efficient (dark hair in bun, older lady).
The muffins and the breakfast here was lovely. The cream and jam was superb. Come here to have a meal...and be amazed by the food. Service was good too!
