This was our first UK Indian meal and it did not disappoint, everything was very tasty. The tikka Marsala is very different fe
Canada - it’s much sweeter and it took me a little bit to get used to it but it’s very good!
Cozy little restaurant with very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced menu with good variety of options, everything we had was delicious.
Amazing quality food and amazing service, everything was incredibly efficient great quality food.
Very tasty Indian dishes with great atmosphere. The food was all perfect and very quick to arrive. Very generous portions. We are certainly an awkward family with different tastes and allergies but the staff and service were all great thank you for a wonderful meal!
Bit warm in the restaurant, it was 28c outside... food was very good
it was busy weekend and we hadn't book table for dinner just walked in, staffs welcomed us though. food served quickly and nice. the spinach curry - i couldn't remember the name - was the best. glass wine was quite nice!
This place offers authentic Indian and Bengali cuisine in the middle of English countryside town -- Stow-on-the-wold. Popular among the locals and the tourists, the restaurant is extremely busy even during the week nights. The servers are extremely attentive and give you enough time to enjoy the meal and the pleasure of your company.
We ordered Mackarel fish curry, tomato bhorta, daal, chicken makhni, saag panir, plain rice, and garlic cheese naan. Except for the tomato bhorta, every single item we ordered was exceptionally good. For desserts, we shared a pistachio kulfi which is very similar to a gelato.
We take our Bengali/Indian food very seriously and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality and presentation of the the food along with the hospitality of the servers. I'd highly recommend this place if you're around Cotswold and looking to eat at a great Indian/Bengali restaurant.
Food was great! We loved the Garlic chicken/lamb from their specialty page on the menu. The chicken tikka masala was good, but very sweet. Plain rice has to be ordered separately, does not come with the curry. Garlic naan is great. Service was somewhat slow and a little inattentive at times, we had to ask for water and the check.
Ordered a takeaway from here last weekend as I was working nearby and the food was fantastic.
Very reasonably priced and quick service. Very pleasant staff too. No hesitation in going back again.
Me and my finance did visit the Prince of India during our roadtrip thrue cotswold. Amazing food and very great service from all of the staff. And very good value for the money. A must visit when you are tired of french fries and fried food.
