Love this place, very traditional, reasonably priced (for Stratford) quality food. Relaxed atmosphere without the Stratford pomp. Take the children without feeling guilty. The beef stifado is to die for. Tapas is very good. Not a bad word to say about the food or the place

What a fantastic restaurant. Amazing service, it was our wedding anniversary which we told them in advance. When we arrived it was great to find an anniversary balloon attached to the table. Great selection of traditional Greek dishes on the menu. I would highly recommend the Metza which is a bit of almost everything. Well worth the visit

We all had the pittas and Dips to start, and the main was beautiful 😍 I had a chicken in creamy sauce dish.... would definitely recommend.

Went here for there early 3 course menu on Tuesday night a few weeks ago whilst on a city break. Wow fab place...we loved our night/ meal.

Our dining experience at El Greco Greek restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon was nothing short of amazing. The food was truly outstanding, and we relished every dish, with the tomato soup being a particular highlight. The flavors were a delightful journey through Greek cuisine.
While the restaurant itself is fantastic, it's important to note that it's not dog-friendly. We had our little Chihuahua with us, and we had to sit outside, but the silver lining was the excellent service. The presence of a handy window nearby allowed us to call the staff whenever needed, so we never felt ignored while dining.
Overall, our visit to El Greco was a genuinely pleasant experience, and the exceptional food and service made it memorable. Despite the minor hiccup of being unable to dine inside with our furry friend, I would undoubtedly return for another delicious Greek culinary adventure.
Decided last minute to go out for something to eat on a Monday afternoon purely to give the car a decent run, so decided on Stratford upon Avon, did a quick search for local restaurants in the town and saw El Greco, hadn’t been to a greek restaurant before, and wasn’t disappointed!!
We had the mezzes platter, wow!! So many dishes for stater and mains, and not one of them you could fault, all full of flavour, presented beautifully and the staff were happy and friendly.
Wasn’t overly busy when we went (3pm) but must be popular due to reviews as more tables upstairs too.
Will definitely be back and recommend it to any friends or customers that visit Stratford.
My husband took me here for my birthday and it was our first time eating here but it had been recommended to us by a Greek gentleman so we knew we needed to try it. Everything we ate was incredible and the food came out very quickly. The servers we had were all friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. We will happily go back again because we'd love to try the 22 dish mezze. Highly recommend El Greco!
