The Queens Head

We can’t comment on the accommodation as we only drank in the bar. Lovely pub, great service and great atmosphere - we visit every time we’re staying in Stratford. Only downside this time was that we were thinking of ordering food (Saturday 16th Sept) but overheard a couple who pointed out about the chefs attire when he brought their food out from the kitchen. When we looked at him it certainly did put us off as his black apron and black tracksuit bottoms, including the back of his t-shirt, was covered in food stains and there certainly was a lot of them! Once we saw this it did put us off ordering and it’s a shame because the food did look very appetising. It was disappointing as it’s a great pub! It would make sense to have a well dressed person to bring out the food order in the future.
