K.rave

We hosted our sisters Hen do here and the restaurant gave us the whole place for 3 hours. We opted for the afternoon teas which were not only excellently priced but very generous. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to decorate and staff rearranged the tabels to our liking. Excellent experience in all.

I enjoyed K.rave, the food was good and the staff there were swift and friendly. It was only when I got there that I realised it was a hotel restaurant. Sometimes I worry hotel restaurants are a little more expensive than they should be, counting on tired guests to pay the difference rather than shop around but I didn't get that sense from K.rave. I had my first fried chicken waffles here. The fried chicken was great and waffles just about okay. I think I would have preferred to go all in on the chicken with 6 tenders or even gone from the healthier option of cornfed chicken breast from the local menu. Nevertheless, waffles a little more dense than I'd like isn't much of a problem. My main concern was the state of the carpet, which was filthy. They really need to get under the tables in their next clean and along the sideboard. Overall, I was pleased to find K.rave and surprised by how little local choice there seemed to be in this part of Manchester. I'd go back.

Absolutely fabulous. All the steaks we ordered were perfectly cooked to our requirements, generous in size and melt-in-the-mouth, honestly, the best steaks I have ever tasted. Chicken wings unctuous and vanished in moments accompanied by big, fat crispy chips. The sticky toffee pudding rounded it all off, cooked like my Mother used to make it. Service was speedy and friendly; our server, Gladstone, couldn't do enough for us and did it with a smile. They offer a great selection of drinks, my companions enjoyed a lovely red wine while I washed mine down with an ice-cold beer! I would go back in a heartbeat, am looking forward to trying their afternoon tea some time soon; if it's half as good as their steaks, this will be my go-to for birthdays and for my great grandchild's christening party. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Food was very good, tasty , well presented and well worth the money. We went on Tuesday 02/11/21 and had a great evening. Food was served hot and on time. They had two waiters who were very efficient, helpful and professional. It was obvious that they were putting in a lot of effort to ensure we enjoyed our experience. We look forward to going back.
