The Riverside

We had the pleasure of eating here last night for our anniversary, in the beautiful sunshine. The service was amazing and friendly and the food was just delicious. I was told that many of the dishes could be made vegetarian for me. The flavours and presentation was outstanding. Will definitely be returning here again. And a special thank you to the staff Lexie and Rosie for making our evening so lovely.

Had a fabulous meal here this evening. We hadn't booked and stopped by on the off chance, and even though they were extremely busy we received a really friendly greeting and were seated straight away. The setting is beautiful right next to the river and we were offered a table in or outside. All the staff were very attentive and our waitress was so helpful and lovely. The food was amazing, and our steaks were cooked perfectly. We really can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be going back again. 5 stars! Thank you

Dropped in on a damp winters day, what a pleasant surprise upon entering. It was warm, welcoming, clean, comfortable and I was promptly greeted with a smile. For a long time restaurants have come and quickly gone at this venue which is such a lovely spot right on the river stour. Just a short walk from the town centre with plenty of parking I recommend you try this professional Italian restaurant. The food and service is absolutely excellent, authentic Italian cuisine in beautiful Sudbury...these guys are here to stay.

Just had an excellent dinner at the Riverside. The new owners have typical Italian flair and pride in what they do. The food was beautifully cooked, presented and reasonably priced. When the chef has the confidence to come out and check that the food is hitting the mark you can tell you are onto a good meal.
