Really nice little cafe. The staff were so lovely and chatty and made a real effort with my little girl, the food and drinks were delicious. Were made to feel really welcome. Lots of vegetarian options too. Will definitely visit again

We popped in to Box River Cafè for lunch and found it very welcoming. The staff were attentive and it appeared to be quite busy with regular local customers and visitors passing through. There was a good selection of food on the menu but I did find my bacon in my bap fatty and chewy. My husbands sausage bap was excellent.

Lovely cafe in the village of Boxford. Ideal as a pitstop for before or after a walk around the village or countryside. Staff nice and friendly too.

So great to see a local independant village cafe be so successful! It has become my regular spot for a coffee and cake or sandwich. Excellent food & coffee, and very reasonably prices. The portion sizes are that of a true Suffolk cafe. Cally and the team are a real asset to the village, and it so fantastic to see it so busy.

This is a genuinely independent review, from two time visitors.
The Box River Café is a delightful venue, with excellent staff and superb food. There is an excellent choice on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan options.
The Box River Cafê has a great ambience, and is well worth seeking out, in the Suffolk village of Boxford (Near Sudbury).
They have a range of homebaked pastries and cakes, which are to die for!
If you want to be impressed, you certainly will be at the Box River Café. 10/10 from us!

A very quaint, beautiful cafe in a beautiful village. Lovely GF chocolate cake! Actually one of the best I've ever tasted. The staff are so friendly and the coffee is just perfect.
There's also a lovely wine/gin/whisky room. Will definitely be coming back to do some wine tasting with friends.
The cafe has lovely french feel to it, definitely worth a visit! Just Beautiful!
