I went the other day with my girlfriend, we both had a lovely time. All the staff were very friendly and were constantly walking the floor. The food was delicious and more than worth the price, the sweet and sour monkfish and asiana special king prawns were especially tasty
Always good quality food with pleasant service. Slightly pricey given the portion sizes and I've never had anything that I would consider amazing with nearly everything tasting simply nice. Slightly better condiments would make a big difference. Got the same bagged salad with both main and starter. Deserts are very nice but maybe a sauce for the ginger cake. Given the cost. My teriyaki salmon only came with rice and a tiny salad. Maybe a few crisped vegetables too? These touches would elevate the place from good to great. Nothing bad from here though which is fab. Good for groups, the round table in particular is very sociable. With plenty of space and nice views of the river. It's a nice place this. It's a city centre location so parking is by nearby multi storey but that's now free after 3pm and only a short walk.
Our favourite Asian cuisine restaurant in Sunderland. Always a delicious meal and the team are very friendly and accommodating. During lockdown we've ordered quite a few takeaways from here on the app and always delivered on time and food piping hot. We spent new years eve here with a large group of friends (think there were 17 of us in December 2019) and Ian and his team couldn't have done any better for us and meeting dietary requirements by slightly tweaking the menu for me. Looking forward to our next order 😍
Went as part of restaurant week, and no regrets at all. I would have loved pretty much any dish on the menu the choice was so good on the special menu for this event. All dishes were both quality and excellent value too. The only thing I would improve would be the beer choice but that's a minor grumble really. Plentiful staff on and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Look forward to another visit.
Lovely friendly place, very clean, gets busy mind, partner had king prawn chow Mein He said he hasn’t ever had a dish with so many king prawns in… chicken curry the same lots of chicken in and a nice little kick to it, very tasty,
maybe check your bill after we didn’t but went back pleased we did as we were charged for an extra bottle of wine what we didn’t have !
Went for the first time last night with friends, lovely filling, made to fill welcome, fantastic food with a view if you can get one.... you need to book, friendly staff and had a sense of humour, will be going back and have all ready book for my anniversary.....
We had a birthday party there, the staff were great, loved the food . 2 of our group were vegans and they were fully catered for

Had a lovely match day meal here a few weeks ago. £17 per person including a drink. We had spare ribs and smoked chicken to start followed by sweet and sour chicken and chow mein. All excellent. Service very good too. Would definitely recommend.
Great place to have food and drinks great views off Sunderland from the Restaurant as well, it's was busy but still got great service ,would not hesitate to go back when we travel up north
