Wonderful fish and chips. Very large portions. Best I've had in England so far. Also very friendly service. Highly recommend. And being on the beach is a big plus.
Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Prices seemed a bit steep to begin with, so we ordered the small cod and chips and this proved to be more than enough. In fact my son couldn’t finish his, and my in-laws shared a portion.
My other son really enjoyed having a battered sausage for the first time. I tried a bit and it was lovely. So moist inside but lovely and golden on the outside. I had to wait about 10 mins for my order, so they gave me free peas and curry sauce without me even mentioning the wait. I thought this was a very nice touch and shows they are attentive.
You put your own salt and vinegar on which I much preferred. And they give you wooden forks with every order, without you having to ask!!
Our fish and chips went down a treat with kids and adults alike. Will definitely be returning when we are next up in this area.

Went to beach and decided to eat her. Its very nice little shop. Loved the fish and curry/chips & mushy peas. My Mam & Daughter both had curry n chips and the bairn also had sausage and eat the lot 😋 Would totally recommend 👌 Staff are lush super helpful.
Had a daily offer, Haddock and chips, fantastic. I can't remember at wich time I got this size, it must be lots of ages ago. I can only recommend this fish and chips business when you stay at Roker. It's not anly that, a fantastic beach and a great atmosphere at the Seafront. For the Party goers is everything there. I will be back in time.
Went with kids yday, had a bit of a wait due to covid rules but it was worth it, nice size portions, and very reasonable prices, a cone of chips for £1 is great for smaller kids, they do a kids meal for £2.95 includes a drink, so any1 having day at beach with kids are not gona go broke on buying lunch 😁😁😁 the sauce on the chips was my own sauce, but u can buy sachets in the chippy 😁
Wasent the best fish and chips. But we where hungry and it did the job. Been nice to sit in as whether was not great.
The staff were great but the fish was bland. I know theres a rule about salt but that was a total let down
