Best breakfast in Sunderland, guaranteed! I was cycling from Nottingham to Edinburgh and I arrived hungry in Sunderland last Saturday. I asked the first person I met where I could get a good breakfast so she got her mum to take me to the cafe that she works in. I got the most amazing breakfast of my trip and the lovely folk even packed me off with some cakes for the journey. I insisted on getting a photo with the team as they really were a highlight of my trip. If I'm ever in Sunderland again I'm going to pay them a visit for sure.

This is a lovely family run cafe with a restaurant upstairs. The food is homemade and very tasty and the staff are helpful and friendly.
