Chilli Mangoes

Last night me and the wife had the most amazing Indian I think we've had. My No.1 Fav was The Sunrise in Jedburgh, but last night we visited Chilli Mangoes in Sunderland. It was pure chance we stumbled on this place of beauty as we'd dropped our Son off for his friend's birthday and we had 3hrs to kill. Staff were friendly, really informative about there Indian Street Food choices as that was all new to us. I didnt know what to choose, so bottled it and stuck with what I always gets. Poppadoms and Pickles sharing Mine Bhuna Prawn on Puri Lamb Tikka Massala Vegetable Pilau Rice Garlic Nan Bread Wife's Chicken Chat Chicken Byruriani with rice. The owner knowing it was our 1st time and wanted some Feedback on some of their Indian Street Food starters from newbies and believe me we were utterly blown away by the flavours in every mouthful. Pictures 7,8,9 1. Chicken 65 2. Dried Beef dish 3. Indian homemade cheese (similar to halumi cheese but cooked in the clay ovens coated in the Tikka sauce for the meats. Some nights the have live music on to accompany your evening meal which we cannot waiting for one our next visit. Inside is not your normal Indian style restaurant, forgot to get pictures of interior but honestly it's fantastic. They also have a rooftop terrace with firepit and sitting area, a tad cold to part take in that but in the summer sounds great 😎 The 10/10 can so easily be used in reviews but this is a Massive Big Fat Solid 10/10!!!!! There's also new dishes coming through soon aswell 😋😋 Cannot wait to go back 😎
