Good location, scenic views, good service and average food. Very few options for vegetarians in the main course. Brownie was the high point during my visit.
Dropped in here for dinner. The place was relatively packed and outside seating was not an option as it was freezing cold. We ordered beer and the Mediterranean Mezze to start. The starters was really good. For the mains we ordered the Margarita pizza and the Spit fired chicken. Both the items were nice although not exceptional. Ideal for lunch outside over looking the river and the boats. Could have been better.
Lovely location, food ok, service could be better. First time I went... wasn't spectacular but did the job.
Food was above average and the Thai fish soup and caesar salads for starters were good.
Mains a tad disappointing - roast chicken and lamb both served lukewarm.
To be honest, not much you can really complain about as 2 courses were £14 so wasn't expecting much.
The service at the bar was excellent and friendly - the table service left much to be desired with no interest to clear our table of plates when we finished our starters and mains.
I would have liked to have someone at or near the door to show the best place to sit - it certainly was not even half full on a beautiful, sunny day and I would have been happy to have paid a bit more for better quality.
Worth a one-off visit just for the view.
Great Location, food's ok too.. Had a christmas meal here with some friends recently so much fun was to be had. The location is great along the riverside which in summertime I'm sure is a great appeal.

Riverside Delight!. Well situated venue, beautiful decor with an upstairs and outside decking with balcony. Ideal spot for an afternoon lunch during the summer and just as good inside in the spacious nicely lit interior.
Large menu accomodating most tastes, all with grand titles instead of the bland "burger in a bun". Does cater for children but is more enticing to the mature eaters. Food always well prepared and presented and of generous portions.
Staff are always welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The team there seem to run a good ship with all the staff providing to the overall feel of the place.
Would suggest calling to book in advance if with a group as this place can get busy, however you do have the grand bar for a drink if you don't mind the wait.

Nestled somewhere on the banks of Thames along Portsmouth Road in Kingston upon Thames, this restaurant is the perfect location for that romantic dinner with your spouse that you've postponing all this while. This restaurant is easy to miss as you'd really not expect to find someplace so charming on a deserted lonely road. The food is also quite delightful and they're merciful to the vegetarians as well with an exclusive menu for the ones who love green. Make sure to try out the 'Spit Roast Chicken' which is cooked to perfection.
They've got it all. Great food and unbelievably good ambiance makes Hart Boatyard, a perfect dining destination.
To be fair, friday afternoon and summer sun enhanced the experience, but glints on the water were just icing on a pretty impressive cake.
Great riverside spot, good parking, boat hire and impressive, multi level architecture make a solid case for a visit at any time.

Lovely place for Sunday Brunch. Excellent portion sizes for appetizer and mains and can accomodate groups easily. Tip: Try a dessert
Our second time here the food is delicious and it’s such a beautiful place we love sitting on the balcony watching all the boats! :) All the team were great so helpful and really friendly sadly we didn’t get all their names but one we did and her name was Emily and she was really lovely! :)
Potentially the best view of the river in Kingston. The food and beer fitted the occasion. Kristof and the rest of the team were what makes this pub so great.

Lovely place right by the river. Service was great, staff are very friendly. Our waitress Emily was great, super helpful and had a lovely personality. Food was amazing. We've been a few times for drinks but this was the first time was came for food. Highly recommended
Stopped here after a nice walk from Kingston and stumbled upon this hidden gem. I loved the overall atmosphere of the pub and it’s in a fantastic location! I ordered the Dirty Burger and cannot recommend how nice it was. The staff were also very friendly especially the manager Kristof. Thank you for the amazing experience we had at your pub.
An absolutely wonderful place to relax, have coffees and enjoy a beautiful meal. The lunch 3x course set, is not only varied with a great selection of choices to choose from, it's also very good value and the quality of the meal was superb. As a Vegan, I'm delighted that there were many options for me & the service was very fast and the staff professional & kind. I highly recommend this pub to everyone & I'll be back soon. Good atmosphere, nice view beside the Thames. Food was nice but starters (bread & olives and liver pâté) could be served with more bread. Service - staff were friendly but a bit scarce, we kept going to the bar to order drinks - our table became crowded by a collection of empty glasses which weren’t taken away. Nice that the outside seating. Area was pet friendly.
