Tony's Pizza

I was honestly very surprised by Tony's. I expected a generic pizza/sub shop, but this is a nice place with a bunch of seating and excellent food. We ordered spaghetti with chicken and some garlic bread. For 2 people, we only got through about half the pasta and bread and had the rest for lunch the next day. While waiting, the main guy behind the counter came over and chatted, made sure we weren't waiting too long, and generally took care of us on our first visit which was nice. Would definitely go back to try other dishes if I'm in the area.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years with my family. Not once have I encountered a rude employee, poor food quality, or been dissatisfied with customer service. They have good pizzas, freshly made at the restaurant. (Sometimes I would see the workers making them). Salads are fresh and crispy. Sandwiches are well constructed and tasty. Good variety of soda from the fountain. There's a reason why we've been coming here for years. It's an awesome restaurant with friendly employees as well as great food and great drink!

One of the most important thing is the employees. They were kind and patient while I place our order. They have a nice setup where there's a big fish tank at the top of the stairs, that lead to a lower section. The section was closed off because it wasn't needed when we went because it wasn't extremely busy and there were plenty of seats on the first floor where you enter the restaurant. The restaurant is really clean. Not one did me or my family get a feeling of "hmm this place doesn't seem too clean." The bathrooms are also clean. The good was great. We ordered a pizza, Hawaiian with bacon and a pepperoni pizza. It was so delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and well made. Everything was so good. There was also a good amount of cheese on it. At one point I picked up a slice and some of the cheese started sliding off because it was still so hot and fresh. It looked like a scene from the ninja turtles. Only old folks like myself know what I'm talking about. We'll definitely be going back.

Must be something only locals understand here. You walk into what appears to be a classic pizzeria and hopes are high, as soon as you turn your attention to the counter you are greeted by anywhere from 3-6 people of carrying ages staring at you, blankly and uncomfortably without saying words. Something very “children of the corn” about the counter experience. Can’t speak for all the food, but the pizza is absolutely atrocious.
