I love this place. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like a true guest in their home. The food is amazing, best Sunday Roast I've had, great choice of craft beers and their own microbrewery downstairs! Over 50 gins to try and an atmosphere that is second to none. Best pub in Kent.
I decided to pop to the 'George and Dragon' to watch the Ireland v England rugby match. The atmosphere was very friendly and the bar staff (Gary) was excellent, as usual. The cider was its usual high standard and the impromptu buffet was both welcome and tasty. The only downside (nothing to do with the pub) was the result of the match!
Probably the best pub in the area for a selection of good ales. Staff are friendly and the food is great.
Had the rack of ribs and really shouldn't have eaten anything beforehand all day! Huge and delicious.
great pub. fantastic food. outstanding ales. friendly welcome and service. don't be put off by surroundings or outside look, it is a gem
Almost want to keep this quiet it's so good. Best pub for miles. Proper pub. Excellent beers and lager. Great place for food.
In area where you'd least likely find a decent real ale pub, here is a really good one. Four hand pumped ales from microbrewers, more interesting than usual food (try the sausage roll, very tasty if a little greasy) and old fashioned nick-nack decor.
Pretty handy for Ebbsfleet FC (15 minutes walk) and it was jammed with Orient fans on my visit. I enjoyed a Northern Monk Eternal session IPA and a New Zealand pale, both nicely kept.
Great pub.very well decorated with a lot of thought put into it.
Excellent food and always a great selection of ales not to mention whisky as well
Massive roast dinner, great service for large gathering
