Enjoyed the food, ate two days running whilst staying at the hotel. Had the carvery, food was good, service was good to. Second night, ordered off the menu, lovely quick service. Our waitress Cery was lovely and polite. Had breakfast, which was lovely to. Would visit again if i was in the area and would stay at the hotel, although the pillowcases were not clean, had stains on them, otherwise room was clean, bed comfy and good location.
Service was great and welcoming. Good reasonably priced. Only down side was meat from the carvery was dry and inedible, rest of it was nice though.
Everything about my visit was amazing , the food , atmosphere but most importantly my waitress Chantel. She was incredible with making sure we was all happy with our food , drinks and all the bits in between. I’ve got two little ones which is never easy when on a meal out with family but she was engaging with my daughter every time she was asking her questions got her crayons and some paper it was amazing
Booked table for 2.30pm but before our allocated time we were asked to leave as the table was needed. Another table of 3 people near us were asked to do the same and they actually came in after us. I understand it was quite busy but we hadn't been there for our full time allowed. The food was good as always service a bit slow as it was busy so understandable
Love this place have been multiple times, for breakfast and dinner as well as just drinks. Breakfast is great and good value for money. Dinner there is a variety to choose from. Love the fact you can take children and they can enjoy themselves on the little climbing frame. Best thing is the staff they are so friendly and helpful. Especially Samantha she goes above and beyond all the time. Thank you all.
Our visit was for a family meal for 12 (five siblings and partners, plus cousin and partner).
Three of our party were late as they got the time wrong but we felt under no pressure from anyone to get on with ordering which was nice.
Once we ordered, the starters and main courses arrived in good time.
After the main everyone was chatting (some away from the tables) and we were left until we asked for dessert menus.
The staff were all kind and good natured which added to the afternoon especially as we had to split the bill.
We will be coming back for our next family meal in December.
From a big smile at the booking desk to a really friendly pair of waitresses that looked after us throughout the visit it was a really nice evening. Food was faultless, served promptly, hot and fresh. There were 8 on the table and all different meals ordered and everyone really enjoyed their food.
Visited last night for a birthday meal, had a lovely time, food was excellent and our waitress Ellie (aka Tigger) - what an absolute legend, she made our dining experience so much better with her quick wit and attentiveness! Will definitely be back!! Thanks for the egg 🤣
Staying overnight in the hotel before crossing into France, so booked into the restaurant for dinner. Me and my husband got a carvery regular plate for just over£9. The meat was beautifully cooked and the sides were tasty. Marston ales were under a fiver. My youngest got a starter mac and cheese which was on the small side but filling and tasty, eldest got a loaded fries which was deceptively filling. For dessert the kids had a chocolate fudge cake and a rocky road sundae, both were substantial and tasty. A very reasonable priced meal for a party of 4 with drinks. Our server, Jamie was great. Would recommend
Very nice. Best table in the house, and I'm recovering from surgery so ambience was going to be very important- couldn't have got better if I'd picked the table myself.
Lovely staff. Food was good and the waitress, Natalia, was very lovely and friendly.
