Golden Oak Pancake House

We were looking for a good, Sunday morning breakfast spot, and Golden Oak Pancake House was exactly what we wanted. It was pretty busy, but he dining room is fairly large and seats a lot of folks. We had actually just left another breakfast place not far away because the weight was too long. When we got to Golden Oak, in spite of the number of people there, we only waited about 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, service is extremely fast. For being as busy as they were, they were very attentive, and it didn't take long before we had our food. And the food is absolutely wonderful. Really great diner style breakfasts. Top notch breakfast joint!

You will not be disappointed by a visit to The Golden Oak. We had a 10 minute wait for a table because the place was packed, but that's usually a great indication of a good meal. Our server was sweet and timely. I tried the 3 egg Garden omelette which has tomato, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, green pepper, cheese, and onion, and it was delicious. It came with the option of pancakes or toast, and I chose pancakes. Excellent choice. And the option of hash browns or fresh fruit, and I'm glad I chose the hash browns. Everyone at our table was full and happy. My son told me his bacon was cooked perfectly, which is a compliment only I have received from him when I make his breakfast, lol. My significant other really enjoyed his patty melt, and his fries were fresh and well crafted. Friendly environment, excellent service, clean restrooms and dining room, delicious food, and fresh coffee...enjoy!

Been there twice and both times it was very busy but we were seated within seconds. Service was great, food was excellent and nice and hot! Eggs were made exactly as requested! My husband ordered the Irish skillet and I ordered south of the border skillet. Definitely our new favorite breakfast place!

Words cannot express!! All I can say is that we love coming here and the breakfast is so delicious and always more than I can eat. They always make you feel like family and the meals are definitely home cooked and made with love. When you walk in there is never a seat in the house, but they get you seated quickly.
