1st time trying Nepalese food and it was very good . The dumplings were excellent and we ordered a selection of mains . Some were very good and others not bad. Highly recommended 👌

At last something tasty and different, full of subtle flavours and aromas and served in petit bowls on small tables seated on small seats. Effort was there, and food was good and well valued, but could do with better seating arrangement and a coat of paint.

Really nice evening, staff were all cheerful, it was difficult to choose from the menu due to the fact even the explanation didn't explain what the whole meal would be. We all chose different meals and we weren't disappointed. We were asked how hot we liked our meal so it was tasty with spices and not to hot, everest lamb this was my choice of medium heat. I recommend to book as this will get very popular as there is nothing like in Swindon. We definitely will be back to try other choices.

My first visit to the Yak last night with a couple of friends, and found the food and service to be absolutely amazing, it was just so tasty and good, I just wanted more. It's a family run local place and they certainly know how to look after their customers. 100% will be returning to try many more dishes.

Oh my god it's awesome! Great staff, great food and an adorable restaurant! You can tailor the level of heat to suit your taste. Get the Chilli Momo, it's amazing!

09-September-23: Pre birthday dinner with my nephew. For starters, we shared himalayan pork ribs and fewa fried fish (whitebait). For main, I had the himalayan lamb curry, and my nephew had the himalayan pork belly and both accompanied by himalayan mixed fried rice. Absolutely scrumptious. I've been many times before and will continue to eat there.
