I'm lucky enough to live in walking distance and thanks to the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, I visit often. I rarely eat out though as I enjoy cooking at home but I've changed my opinion after tonight - my cumberland sausage and mash at The Harvey was incredible and my partner's rump steak was amazingly tasty and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend for food, drinks, friendly service, relaxed atmosohere, a game of pool and a good laugh 😊

All round good pub. Feel like this pub gets a bad rep but I've visited twice now, once just for drinks and the second for a meal with friends. The staff are always friendly, drinks are cheaper than in town and the food is similar price to weatherspoons but is so much nicer. Will definitely be going again.

Dennis & his colleagues are so very accommodating. We take our elderly Dad here every couple of weeks. We all love the food , it's delicious. I highly recommend The Harvey .

28/7/23: A Greene-King pub offering good priced drinks with a good selection, and also nice food and good service. You order food at the bar then its delivered to your table. Plenty of food for my gammon and eggs and my wife's fish and chips was a very good portion all at a very good price at £11.49 for both meals on a deal. Parking is free just outside in the big Asda car park. Recommended.

Wife and I went here for a meal, not expecting anything special but my god..... Food, beer, service and atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. I had the 8oz rump which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Scampi which was equally delicious. We had Desert's too which were lovely. Great food and great prices, served with a smile. All round, a great pub with absolutely lovely food and beer, prices are prob the best around. A great place. 5*****

Nice midweek catch up with friends. We had 4 main meals - katsu curry, hunters chicken, 2 x gammon eggs plus 4 pints and two large blackcurrant and sodas all for £41. Excellent value. We'll be back soon.
