Just had a fab Mothers Day meal, fantastic service with lovely friendly staff , lush food and great value for money, always a pleasure coming here.
The bar staff were the friendliest I've ever met. The food and service were fantastic. We were worried about going in because rugby was on and it's a busy sports bar but we had the best welcome ever. Customers apologised to us for being loud when the rugby scored, we didn't mind it had a great atmosphere. Wish it was my local.
Wife and I went here for a meal, not expecting anything special but my god..... Food, beer, service and atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. I had the 8oz rump which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Scampi which was equally delicious. We had Desert's too which were lovely. Great food and great prices, served with a smile. All round, a great pub with absolutely lovely food and beer, prices are prob the best around. A great place. 5*****
Dennis & his colleagues are so very accommodating. We take our elderly Dad here every couple of weeks. We all love the food , it's delicious. I highly recommend The Harvey .
A centrally located pub next to Asda and the ice rink so ideal. It's family friendly and when we went it was showing the rugby. It was busy and quite loud so had a good atmosphere. Not the sort of place to come for a date or romantic meal, but definitely a quick pint and food before ice hockey!!!
All round good pub. Feel like this pub gets a bad rep but I've visited twice now, once just for drinks and the second for a meal with friends. The staff are always friendly, drinks are cheaper than in town and the food is similar price to weatherspoons but is so much nicer. Will definitely be going again.
28/7/23: A Greene-King pub offering good priced drinks with a good selection, and also nice food and good service. You order food at the bar then its delivered to your table. Plenty of food for my gammon and eggs and my wife's fish and chips was a very good portion all at a very good price at £11.49 for both meals on a deal. Parking is free just outside in the big Asda car park. Recommended.
Fantastic pub food with little extra twists in almost all their dishes. Fantastic dishes and hats off to the chef and kitchen. Really done the pub proud.
Staff are friendly and quick to respond if they see you standing. The beer is cold and the range is impressive. Essential on the hot days that we visited.
One criticism is that the side dishes and condiments are overly sweet. But I think that Swindon is a sweet tooth town, and caters for this taste.
Great food, great pub atmosphere... They even have a pub cat. But please don't pet it's belly, this young boy found out the hard way.
Highly recommended.
Nice midweek catch up with friends. We had 4 main meals - katsu curry, hunters chicken, 2 x gammon eggs plus 4 pints and two large blackcurrant and sodas all for £41. Excellent value. We'll be back soon.
The service at the lovely pub restaurants was brilliant. The staff that dealt with my friend and I were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Dennis, Mia and Betty. Food was also good value for money and very tasty.
Kitchen on point last two visits. Food was great and if I had a complaint it was the portions too big. Gammon overload. Hated leaving food on plate but was too big a mission after massive nacho starter. Highly recommended.
Great pub, giving food 4 stars as it was slightly cold that might due to how busy it was though. Great manager 👍
