I enjoyed a double espresso of the house blend (chocolate with hints of treacle I think, but correct me if I’m wrong!). Loved the aesthetics of the place (quotes and prints on the walls taken from famous works of literature). Would come back!

Lovely place to enjoy a coffee. The atmosphere is great.
However, it seems to be a bit emptier than usual, but that might be for the fact that town is dying.
Sometimes the upstairs can be left. Bit unclean...

One of the best cafes in Swindon. A lovely selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches/paninis to go with their delicious coffee. Add to the lovely interior and it's the perfect place to meet with friends or read a book.

Excellent service.
Also, a lovely member of staff, when clearing a table, realised the customers who'd just left had forgotten some paperwork.
She dutifully dashed out after them to hand them their documents!

Friendly service, food & drinks great. Toilet locked, couldn't hold it to go back to the staff had to use the disabled toilet. Sadly lacking but I'm sure the staff do their best

I cannot think of any other coffee shop where I feel more at home than Coffee #1 at Swindon. I have consistently found all the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful, even at their busiest times. In particular, the blonde lady behind the counter is a person for whom the customer always comes first. She is, without fail, always cheery, courteous, kind, caring and helpful; furthermore, she is very knowledgeable about the variety of coffees and food available. She is an exemplar of what excellence in customer service should be. It is because of the friendly and competent staff, the great quality of the coffee, coupled with the character and atmosphere of the place that it makes the whole experience of visiting Coffee #1 Swindon an absolute delight; and that is why I am a regular customer.

Come to coffee#1 regularly, and it's always exemplary service. The staff are always friendly and talkative, and the coffee is made with the freshest beans - would recommend over Costa ir Starbucks any day
