First time visit here. Well impressed with everything. Loved the open fireplace. And I had a lovely meal. Chicken Supreme went down a treat. Definitely worth a visit...

Extensive menu and all food was amazing although we had starters first and couldn't eat it all - took it home for later!!
Quote from daughters - best burgers ever (one chicken one beef!).
Recommend for a starter prawns in Pernod and garlic.
Excellent chef and all front of house staff made you feel welcome.

Didn't have food this time around as we just had enough time for a pint which was lovely. The food going passed us looked amazing though!

Our first visit here in quite some time. Was out for a walk and planned to stop off. We ended up having a late lunch, just some wraps, which was served quickly, tasty and plentiful. I couldn't eat all of mine so they gave me a box to take it away.
Polite friendly staff too. The main menu looks amazing so will be returning soon.

Driven past the Ash Tree many times but never gone in, except the day of our visit we were passing and feeling hungry so called in for late lunch, which staff managed to slot us in. And we were pleased we did call in.
Big list of specials, so many lovely sounding dishes to choose from. Really tasty food. I had the calves liver which was delicious, my partner had the fish and chips and said the fish was really fresh and huge too. Highly recommended

The food was extremely well presented, and portions could only be described as 'plentiful'. I ate all I could and still didn't finish. I definitely should not have ordered additional sides.
The staff were amazing and, on point, courteous without being invasive and polite whilst not being annoying.
The location is rural, and the atmosphere is cosy with an element of seclusion. May struggle with larger numbers of dinners, but for 2 or 4 is perfect.
If you're going, make sure you have space for ALL the food.

Most loveliest pub I’ve been to very friendly owners and staff, serve every pint with a smile😊 I work away a lot and being parked up in the area visiting this pub was exactly what I needed needed after a long day.
Most definitely be back again soon hopefully to taste one one of their amazing homemade pizzas and most importantly lovely poured Guinness 🍻

Fantastic large menu, there is something for everyone here and every dish is absolutely spot on. The service was friendly and it has that cozy country pub atmosphere, can't fault any part of the food or drink. Only question, why a round toilet seat on a square toilet!?
