Went to have a meal and was pleasantly surprised as they had a brilliant Sax player, Paul Plays Sax, who we'll definitely go and see again. Great Sax, good food, good staff and tasty beer. What more can you ask for?

Just popped in for a small coffee. Coffee was made very quickly. Price was decent. Staff friendly and plenty of room. The ONLY reason for taking a star off is that I hate sticky menus and all of the ones at my table were very sticky. Why can't chains understand this and work out a way to clean them?

My family come every Sunday for rock and roll bingo, it’s a fun filled evening, the food’s brilliant everything is good value for money, Greg is a legend and you’ll have a great evening

Beautiful food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. Come in every Sunday for rock and roll bingo with the amazing Greg who just makes me laugh as well as being served by lovely people (Tracey, Kat and Owen) just to name a few. This place and the staff have become like family. If you want great food at great prices and quality the woolpack pub is the one!

Food was very good. Busy Friday evening so service was a bit slow which was to be expected. Entertainment provided by a soloist singer was excellent. It's definitely worthy of another visit

We called in for lunch, having walked out of a nearby pub where the cutlery was very dirty, and hadn't planned on visiting the Woolpack. Anyway, here the food was good, the prices were reasonable, and crucially, the cutlery was clean! Also the service was friendly. This is a nice family-oriented pub serving its local community, with events such as live music, and while we were there today, a children's magic show. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Pretty good pub this. Food is basic but hot and well priced. Doesn't look like it's been thrown on the plate with 6 chips which I've seen elsewhere. Good selection of beer.

On are 2 separate visits, Finally I think we have found a chain pub that doesn’t appear to just nuke all there food in a bank of microwaves ..
Appears to be cooked fairly fresh to order and tastes great excellent presentation and tastes delicious..
Placed order on the webpage (by scanning QR code at table) no hassle using this, Drinks and food come in a very reasonable amount of time staff seemed to be very polite and friendly….
Has a nice family atmosphere
