Great little restaurant in a lovely old building. The food was excellent, I started with the pigeon, then had the Sunday roast all served on nice warm plates. Dessert was a chocolate brownie with ice cream. Everything was cooked beautifully and presented well. The service was really good and cheerful and we had an unhurried experience giving us plenty of time to chat and enjoy the food.

Went with the girls for afternoon tea and it was amazing!! Very polite and happy staff, christine was lovely nothing was to much trouble for her. The sandwich’s were delicious and fresh, and a good variety, cake was also delicious and good selection. Would definitely recommend going 😊

Seriously good food cooked to order. Some great flavours and modern ideas. Well recommended. Chat to the chef and the lovely front of house lady, they're both really down to earth and are clearly enthusiastic about what they are doing. Oh, and insane value for money!

We had an excellent Sunday lunch. Waitresses were lovely, very efficient and we weren't rushed between courses. It was very busy, and there was a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We were welcomed warmly into the pretty restaurant. The food was very good. I had the squid followed by the pheasant. Both dishes were lovely. My husband had the wild boar terrine and then a t bone steak. The steak was excellent, cooked to perfection. A very pleasant experience. We will definitely be revisiting

It was quiet when I ate which suited me. Service was good. Food very tasty. A small menu but didn't mind. The music was a bit inappropriate at times e.g. one song had f**k in it. I'm not offended but others may be.
