The Flying Fish

Called in after football on Saturday and needed to walk to Wellington. Ordered the kebab salad and chips what a portion. The staff were very friendly to all the customers. Well, apart from Claire, who always gives me the best banter and the biggest smile. Best chippy in town by a long shot. Keep up the great work, ladies. And keep that smile always Claire it suits you 😊

Trying to find a good fish and chip shop around Telford for a long time, we have had 3 orders from them now, everytime it's been excellent with no complaints from the kids! Allways arrived piping hot still when deliverd, the burgers and chips are beautiful, no soggy chips as arrive in boxes, and all the boxes marked up with what's in them rather having to route around trying to find who's is who's. If you are looking for a good chippy look no further, excellent.

Always good food at any time of the day. That was a few weeks ago but today I went in and ordered a large cod and chips. When the chap serving me picked up the box I said large? He said yes large or do you want extra large? Large I answered. I was very surprised how small the portion was compared to the last time I came and it was the same price. I was very nice anyway but it didn't fill the spot. I'm fully aware of the increase in food prices but they should be a bit more transparent with the new prices so we can make a informed choice. I've worked in retail for years and I would have had the sence to cover up the label under the box saying SMALL.

Staff work so hard dealing with uber, phone orders and shop customers, and always give 100%. Shame so many keyboard warriors feel the need to disrespect those working hard who are doing their best. Helen is always firm but fair and goes above and beyond, always making customers satisfied. Too many people post bad reviews rather than approaching the manager which leaves me questioning how true their complaint is. If you have an issue speak face to face or via a phone call DONT hide behind a computer screen!!!
